Group Training

 

 

Training for an Ironman is hard enough, training with a group makes it FUN. Vogel Endurance coaching is currently offering the only semi custom group coaching for full and half Ironman triathlons in Jacksonville Florida. For the 2014 season we will be offering a Ironman Louisville group as well as a woman's specific Augusta 70.3 group. No previous triathlon experience is necessary for either group. Both groups have a foundation in holistic coaching and offer the following:

 

  • Semi-custom coaching plans updated monthly

  • Premium training peaks account

  • Monthly seminars with dinner catered by Native Sun

  • VEC/ Native Savings card for monthly discounts at Native Sun to correlate with specific training volume

  • Monthly recipes provided by Florida Costal Cooking to correlate with micro and macro nutrient needs of the training cycle

  • Discounts from local sponsors

  • Monthly sports nutrition provided 

  • Weekly Thursday group run from Aardwolf Brewery San Marco

  • Sunday open water swims (in season)

  • Access to members only forum for training meet ups

  • Local bike and run routes

  • Weekly yoga

  • Daily nutrition logs with emphasis on tracking macro & micro nutrients as well as PH 

  • Weekend coaching clinic in Clermont Florida in July (Date TBA)

 

The Ironman Louisville group is a long season training plan lasting 32 weeks from Jan 12th- Aug 24th. Target races include: HITS Ocala Olympic Triathlon March 30th, Rock and Roll Man 1/2 Ironman May 31st, Ironman Louisville Aug 24th.

Prices are $99 per month (no contract) or $499 for the 7 month season . *millitary discount offered*

 

 

The woman's specific Augusta 70.3 group is 23 week season beginning April 21st with target races including: The BFAST Series (Dates TBA throughout the summer) and Augusta 70.3 Sept 28th. Cost is $99 per month (no contract) or $399 for the 5 month season *millitary discount offered*
